XScriptorium allows you to store your favourite expressions, scripts, presets and AE projects. You can do so through one of three methods:

1. Upload your own content via the "Submit Your Own" link - this content will be visible to anyone so you should ensure that it is in fact your material.
2. Link to content that is already stored online on another site (much like Digg or Reddit). This will create a link to somebody else's content and all that's stored on XScriptorium is a categorized reference. The great thing about this is that over time the vast majority of content floating around out there in the WWW is going to be catalogued on this site, where it can easily be found and accessed.
3. Upload private content - this means that only you can view this content - think of it as your private scripting database. The idea is that you may regularly use an expression written by someone else but cannot contact them to request permission to publish it on this site - uploading it as private content circumvents any issues since the content is not being published and is not accessible by anyone else.

This site is the second incarnation of XScriptorium. The first (dev.Xscriptorium.com) ran very well but I soon noticed that many of the features were never utilized by the community. This led to me rebuilding the site and getting rid of everything that hadn't proved interesting or useful to the community.

If any of you know your way around Drupal or know someone who does, please consider lending a hand, even if it's just advice - I'm not a Drupal whiz so some of what we're trying to achieve here is beyond me.
